Alexis felt her cheeks heat up with a blush. "Haha, thank you. I can definitely say the same about your smile though..." She had to smile at that, looking up at him.

Joel blinked, taken aback by Alexis' sudden straight forwrad statement, before he laughed and found himself blushing just a bit.

"Well...thank you." Joel said, noting the embarrassed flush at Alexis' cheek, feeling a bit of a blush at his own cheeks as he looked at her with admiration. Her smile wasn't the only thing he liked as it turned out. "So, uh, what's the school like here?" He asked.

Alexis took a deep breath, sitting up straight again. "Well, really it's like any school.." Alexis laughed some, glancing at him. "We have a soccer, football and track program. Our art program is kinda small unfortunately, because no many people care for art here apparently." Alexis looked a bit disappointed and disgusted with the fact. "Of any kind unless it's shooting things."

"It gets kinda crowded in the halls because everyone's visiting because everyone knows almost everyone and their uncles. Uhm," She paused, reaching up and messed with her earring a little. "There's choir, which I'm in, along with art and Soccer, and there's basketball, which I forgot. But everyone on the team is assholes anyways."

"Wait, so you mentioned art, which I'm into, but also track, how's the track team?" Joel asked, curious about his new school even more so now having heard the skinny from Alexis. He placed his elbow onto the table and leaned forward, placing his chin atop his palm.

Alexis blushed a bit. "Well they just got some news kids in it that could use some intense training from what I see. I don't pay attention TOO much but I see enough from sitting on the bleacher to study and eat lunch in peace."
